Properties for rent in Southern California

Madison Front + Studio

Local highlights within a few minutes: Pacific Coast Highway commercial strip (cafés, markets), Del Amo Fashion Center and neighborhood shopping to the north, Walteria Park and community facilities nearby. The vibe is suburban and walkable for short errands but car-friendly for full shopping and dining options.

Walkability: short neighborhood walks to local cafes, parks and bus stops; not a dense urban core. Public transit: served by Torrance Transit local routes (stops on Madison St and nearby Pacific Coast Hwy). Regional connections require a transfer to LA Metro/Torrance Transit hubs (Harbor Gateway Transit Center, Torrance Transit Center) or to Metro Rail via connecting buses. Car: convenient to I‑405, CA‑1/Pacific Coast Highway and local arterials. Airport access: LAX is the nearest major airport (short drive). Rideshare and local taxis are widely available.

Greenbriar Tarzana

Neighborhood: Tarzana / West San Fernando Valley — quiet residential streets near the Santa Monica Mountains foothills. Nearby points of interest and amenities include Ventura Boulevard shopping and restaurants, local parks and schools, nearby golf and country club facilities, and open-space access toward Topanga State Park and the Santa Susana Pass area. Typical vibe: suburban, family-oriented, car-centric with pockets of hiking and outdoor recreation close by.

Getting around: The area is car-first — most guests will drive. Major arterials nearby include Ventura (US-101 access via Topanga Canyon/Reseda/Ortega), Topanga Canyon Boulevard and the 118 (Ronald Reagan Freeway) to the north. Street parking is generally available but check local signs; some residential areas have permit or posted restrictions. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and local taxis are widely available. Public transit options exist but are limited: LA Metro bus routes run along Ventura Boulevard and some north–south streets; faster regional service requires transfers. Walking is practical only for short trips to nearby shops on Ventura Blvd; most errands require a short drive.

Vibe: urban residential with cultural institutions and convenient local dining/cafés.

Getting around: Walkable to local shops and restaurants on La Brea, Fairfax and nearby blocks for short trips. Metro buses serve La Brea Avenue, Wilshire Boulevard and 8th Street (multiple lines including frequent north–south routes). The Metro B/D (Red/Purple) subway terminus at Wilshire/Western is reachable by bus or short rideshare; the Metro Expo Line (E) runs west–east and connects to 7th Street/Metro Center and Santa Monica (transfer options downtown).
